- PRODUCT INFO: Sodium silicate, also known as waterglass, or liquid glass is a colorless water based liquid. Dries to a solid form that can withstand temperatures up to 2000F
- USES: Commonly used as an high temperature adhesive for refractories or ceramic fiber blankets. Sodium silicate is used in making pottery as a deflocculant in casting slips. Sodium silicate is also used as an exhaust system joint and crack sealer for repairing mufflers, resonators and tailpipes.

I would buy this again
The 4 oz. bottle was just what I needed, and the price was right. Shipping was fast, I am totally happy with my purchase. I poured 2 oz. into the overflow tank on my radiator in my Honda Civic. 4 cylinder. This will coat the inside of the radiator and engine block with a sealant to repel any corrosion which always happens with aluminum. So far, so good.

Great quality, good price
I just needed a little to do a minor repair in my quartz countertop, which had a chip. I filled the area with the solution and let it dry. It shrinks a little, so I had to go over it a couple of times but it worked great! I will also be using it as a mordant in my fiber reactive dyeing business.
