I had leak on black pipe older home water pipe. The clamp stopped it immediately.... In addition the price is excellent.... will shop more at supply house

Good product quick and easy pipe fix
Don't play around with putty or tape for fixing a pin hole in pipe, especially in a tuff spot. I learned the hard way. I used this clamp on very old piping in a crawl space. It was quick and easy. Just make sure you give the pipe area a quick scraping or sanding for evenness before putting clamp on. I used 4 of them on a steam condensate line. Instant result and holding up now for about a month of cold weather.
