–
The NDS Standard Series 13" x 20" body is tapered and has a minimum wall thickness of 0.250". The body has a double wall at the top cover seat area with a minimum thickness of 0.250". The cover seat area has 16 structural support ribs on the underside of the seat, each with a minimum thickness of 0.250". The bottom of the body has a 0.500" flange. The 13" x 20" cover has an average thickness of 0.250". The valve box has a 3/8" Brass nut for the bolt-down as a standard feature.

might not buy again
Had to modify box to use with in-place pump equipment. I can't, for the life of me, imagine anyone installing this box as an addition to an existing pump piping system without out cutting the strip from the "U" shaped opening at one end. You would have to place the box as piping was being installed not to do this. A better design, if you must have the cross member at the bottom of the "U" opening, would be to design a proper snap-off option for us with pre-existing piping. Would recommend, but with reservation.
