Got my boat lift up and running again!
I used Supplyhouse.com's filters to find the equivalent to the OEM transformer - it was in stock and at a price much lower than I expected. Fast delivery. I finally got a chance to install it - motors ran again as soon as I turned breaker on and operated the remote lift control.
