I would not buy this again
I installed this for a client who had pipes burst in a crawl space when a service person left the crawl space door open in winter. replumbed the burst pipes and put a closer on the door. they didn't use the next year but water just dripped when turned on this spring. I found that the pipes were open but the valve was blocked. Replaced with another sillcock and no problems. I guess I should have tested it before installing? It is soldered so I can't take it apart to see what the problem is.

Q: Can this pex connection be used with uponor propex? Or is a valve available that is compatible?

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse.com TeamThis valve is for crimp connection only. For these type of ball valve sillcocks, they only come in either crimp, threaded or sweat. If you are using propex expansion, you would have to use an adapter in conjunction with one of these connection types to change over to propex.
