Clean Guts

I used this product on the recommendation of our boiler contractor and it worked magic in cleaning out the gunk that's piled up in the boiler for years. I highly recommend this product.

Has Reduced Zone Valve Failures

We were replacing 2 - 4 zone valves every year. They would corrode and stick shut or open. Our system has 11 zone valves and at about $150 each, this was getting expensive and they are in a place that is hard to work in. We started using this product about 4 years ago and have only lost one zone valve in the last 4 years. This product is well worth the cost do to the savings on maintenance to our system. Not sure about pump life but our B&G circulating pump is still running great after about 5 years. Great product!

Definatly see a improvement

I have been using this for 2 seasons in a large steam system. We have always had steam returns rotting. I am only adding one gallon every other month and i do see a improvement in the number of leaking return pipes.

Use it to clean in the Fall prior to storage.

Before this product was available (~30 years ago) I used to flush the boiler every Fall and then store it drained and dry for the summer season. Just as my Dad (40+ yrs in the trade) taught me to do. I now add this in my final "steam" for the season in all my boilers and flush. I also have a carbon filter inline for the feed water given the chemicals the town has been adding over the years are so harmful to the castings. In 2021 I have 3 boilers over 35 years old and 2 that are under 10 and still choochin'. Don't run this in high concentrations or long term however, it will eat copper piping/fittings.

Using it as a regular water treatment

I started using this treatment in a Large multi building steam boiler heating system last year. The system has been plagued with rotting steam returns for as long as i remember. So far we have had minimum pipe blowouts this season.
