More About Line Sets
Refrigerant line sets are flexible copper pipes that connect the outdoor condenser or heat pump to its corresponding indoor unit in a mini-split air conditioner system. They are composed of two types of lines: a liquid line and a suction line. The liquid line is the smaller of the two and connects the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. The suction line is the larger of the two lines and returns the expanded gas from the evaporator back to the condenser. Ductless mini split line sets can be cut with a tubing cutter to satisfy each individual installation requirement. Line set size is determined by the indoor unit, and longer line set runs will require adding refrigerant to the system.

We offer two types of refrigeration line sets. Flared refrigerant line sets are used with mini-split systems and both the suction and liquid lines are insulated. Our selection of standard refrigerant line sets have plain straight ends where only the suction line is insulated. Complete your systems with line set covers, connectors, and flush. Shop now to find the mini split line set best suited for your systems for optimal thermal comfort.
