Exactly what I needed
This replaced a 40 year old Honeywell relay/transformer that had failed. Works perfectly. Main difference is they now use a circuit board rather than simply wires. Probably could have gone with an alternative three wire LV solution for the wifi thermostat but was able to modify this to provide the constant power needed. Next time.

I would buy this product again if it lives longer this time
this was an identical replacement for a unit that lasted 4 -5 years which I feel should have lasted a lot longer. The dead unit failed because of a bad solder joint on the printed circuit board. I soldered that & now it works fine. So it's now a back-up for the new one I just got or others in the system.

Q: I have a multi-zone oil baseboard heating system with five zones. Each zone has an RA845A and a circulator. The RA845A 1030 relay connected to one of the zones will intermittently kick on and off even when the thermostat for the zone is turned off. I think that it could be a bad relay but is there any other potential cause that should be checked before I purchase a replacement RA845A? Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYou might want to double check the wiring to make sure nothing is wrong. If the wiring is all correct, the relay may require replacement.

Try switching the T-T wires and the pump wires with another zone, see if the problem stays with that relay or stays with that zone, in which case there is probably something going on the thermostat or its wires. Henry
