Hi have a AO SMITH water heater and they fit like the original one.

Annually, I drain my electric hot water heater to shop vac the calcium sediment from the bottom of the tank. I have to drain it and remove the two elements. I have two identical elements ready to install to save time once the tank is cleaned. The existing gaskets were worn to the point of seepage!? These replacement gaskets were just the ticket. They fit perfectly and seal properly. (I soak the removed elements in a pan of vinegar so that next year they'll be ready to go with new gaskets!)

It's a standard replacement gasket for 2 hot water heaters I clean out annually.
