Pleased with the product.
The vent pipe extension works very well. The issue I had was that I did not realize that I also needed to order a roof discharge termination part. When the plumber came to install the tankless water heater, he had to order a roof discharge termination part from an in-state dealer to avoid a significant delay in being able to use the water heater. It would have helped if the person I talked with to order the vent pipe extension had informed me that I also needed to order a roof discharge termination part, which would have saved the extra cost of priority ordering and shipping.

Not for Richmond
I have installed this product on other water heaters in the past but had a customer that wanted me to install a Richmond (Rheem). The inside exhaust tube is slightly larger on this pipe so it doesn't fit inside the Richmond.

A must have
Fits like a glove on unit for a vertical discharge and to other extension tubing regardless of size. It has small built-in-adjustment so you won't have to cut if you off by a few inches on one end. They all work like a puzzle. Sturdy plastic and metal inside. Comes with three screws.
