Box missing a corner but... Everything perfect - went great
It's a bit disconcerting when you open a package to find the manufacturer's box within with a corner torn out of it. It's pretty common for me, when I run into that, to find something missing or damaged. But to my relief every little part was there and everything was fine.
This condensate neutralizer is ONE OF VERY FEW that actually comes with EVERYTHING YOU NEED to connect it. It even includes 10 ft of clear flexible hose (1/2 INSIDE diameter). You'll need enough to make TWO runs, not one, so if your floor drain is too far away, buy another one before you start. I just needed to drill TWO holes and screw the brackets to my foundation. I used a level to get it reasonably level. Can cut the hose with a good scissors. slipped on the clips, slid the hose onto the connectors, snugged the clips, done.
The hose goes over but not down the floor drain. The Y is used in an unexpected way (splits upward) to keep condensate from taking the bypass route except when the main route is clogged.

Awesome quality.
I was skeptical about this before buying it, thinking it would be a cobbled together piece of PVC. I was dead wrong- super high quality; made me feel like I got a good product and good value for the price. This will be my go-to condensate neutralizer.

Worth the cost
Not just the condensate neutralizer tube- includes a useful kit of parts (1/2" tubing , barbed fittings and 1/2" sch 40 pvc fittings) that make it easy to connect to a gas boiler/heater/furnace. The condensate flex tube from my Rinnai M series boiler sits in the 3/4 to 1/2 pvc reducer in the kit (requires an air gap).
You provide the 1/2 pvc piping to connect to the condensate neutralizer tube. The kit includes adapters to connect 1/2 pvc or the 1/2 tubing to the neutralizer tube.
