Installation & Care

Clean the housing interior, end cap filter screens, and end caps thoroughly with household white vinegar. Flush the drain line with 16 to 32 oz. of vinegar to remove accumulated sediment. Follow with 2.5 gallons of water to clear the line completely. Fill the cleaned housing with the new refill media. Reassemble the housing and reconnect to the drain line. Verify proper drainage flow after reassembly to ensure there are no back-ups. Replace the media annually or more frequently if condensate pH testing indicates reduced effectiveness.
