Underground burial of SharkBite brass fittings requires that the fitting be wrapped using silicone wrap (25406A).
SharkBite Large Diameter Female Connectors combine innovative push-to-connect design with a standard FNPT adapter on the opposite end. The push-fit end is compatible with Copper, PEX, CPVC, PE-RT and HDPE pipes and can be installed with no solder, glue, unions or tools required. These fittings are rated to 200°F and 200 PSI.

if you can stop the flow you can instal sharkbite on cpvc and cooper.

Q: ok, I bought a Uponor tru-flow junior manifold. I also bought 1/2" aqua pex tubing. I want the supply lines to be 1" and the lines to the floors 1/2". Would you please tell me exactly what addition items I need to tie all this together. I'm new to this and a video would also be helpful. Thank you. Ted

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYou could use A4020500 fittings to connect 1/2" PEX to the manifold loop ports via the compression method. Part A2123210 would get you over to 1" female NPT threads at the supply and return (from which point you could use a 1" male NPT x SharkBite fitting [part U140LF], for example).
