3/4" PVC x 3/4" FIP MetalHead Straight Adapter

Wish I had known about these earlier. I saw these on youtube and I tried and love these fittings. I hate ending PVC with plastic threads that are going into a metal hose bib. The plastic threads seam to strip or leak easily. These fittings give you some real metal on metal threads. So if you have a heavy hand like me you won't damage the threads. I am not a professional, just a guy that tries to do as much of my own repairs as I can. Also if you're wondering, you glue them on regularly with glue. Somehow they have the fitting crimped onto the PVC fitting inside. I have noticed that the brass sleeve will spin on the PVC insert but so far no leaks. I own a laundromat and used these on some repairs I had to do for my cold water behind some machines. All my hot water is copper so I have no idea how they would hold up to hot water but I don't see why they wouldn't work if you had to use them on a hot water supply. Again not a plumber. But I really like having metal threads on the end of PVC.
