Perfect for my application
I needed this cleanup plug to fit an old cast iron drain when the old brass plug broke out a section of the outlet. The opening was 3 1/4" but the 3" cleanout plug fit perfectly, in fact, I had to lightly drive it in with a hammer. Since the cleanout is in a damp cellar, I wanted a metal free, rust free plug. Easy fix.

These have saved me more than once.
When the threads all all corroded and worn out you need an option rather than snap the pipe and install a new clean out.

Great cast iron sewer drain clean out plug
Needed to replace caps in 70 year old sewer line that were highly corroded. These are very solid but pliable enough to insert snuggly making a tight seal. The screw out center plug should make it easy to access for years to come.

Great fix for rusted cleanout
