2-1/2" x 3/4" PVC Schedule 40 Spigot x Socket Bushing

When I sat down to build this airlift pump system, which is powered by injecting pressured air (from a commercial grade fish tank air pump) to a point (minimum) of 48" deep into a gravity fed containment pipe (also pvc). The ensuing bubbles force "burps of water up almost 6 feet. At that point I had to become creative, and the choice of the 1/2" X 3" socket bushing was the answer. That and a coupling allowed me to gauge the final size of the upper collection basin ( 3" pvc pipe length "X"). And then to route this effluent to the outdoor water feature for filtration.

Found out this doesnt have inside threading that i need to turn on to threaded male outlet valve of water tank so this didnt work for me.couldnt tell whether it had threads to it by the discription given.
