Awesome tool
I have been using mine for 5 years so far. It is so much safer and consistent than having 2 or 3 guys on ladders trying to do the heavy lifting. I never used the strap, I have always used a ratchet strap in place of it for peace of mind. I seriously love this tool, its a necessity now on attic jobs.
Finally after 5 years of hard use the cable is staring to fray and the ratcheting lock mechanismis pretty worn out. No fault to the product, we have beat the heck out of it for 5 years and its been through the ringer. Just ordered a new one to replace it!

No I would not recommend Duze
The strap snapped lifting a furnace, metal wore through the material. The locking lever doesn't work so well either. I would look for better quality on my next one

An absolute must have
Bought last week used it on the weekend to lift equipment, I love it, my help loves it. Super easy setup less than 2 minutes lifts air handlers with fan motor and evap easily. Back saver, argument saver, life saver. Buy it it's totally worth the price. May not work on all jobs but it's definitely worth its weight in gold.

I would buy this again.
Pros: First time I've used it and it impresses me. This item is so useful. It's adjustable. You don't have to worry where to hang it. Good to hang a motorized hoist for easy lifting.
Cons: manually operated so it stresses your arm.
