Easy quick fix.
This is easy to do. Hopefully when the original was installed in your house, the plumber put in two shut-off valves on each side of your pump. That way all you have to do is un-plug the electrical, turn the two valves off, place a towel or shollow pan under the pump, remove four case screws, lift off the motor windings. Then lift out the unit. Reassemble in reverse order. Be sure to turn the valves on before plugging the electrical back in.

Still grinds
I have a Taco 006-B4 circulator pump in my basement which was making a grinding noise and was advised to install a replacement cartridge. Did this and the noise is still there. I was very pleased with SupplyHouse; they processed my order very quickly and my item was received before they said it would arrive. The item was an exact replacement meaning it went in perfectly and did not leak after restart. It just did not get rid of the noise.

No, it did not resolve the problem.
Tried on both settings, did not fix problem. Will have to replace entire unit. Stopped functioning about 4-1/2 years of service.

According to a RADIANT MIXING BLOCK RP KITS document I received from TACO-HVAC on 2/6/15, the appropriate cartridge kits are 005-020RP for the Injection Pump Motor (the 006 one) and 008-045RP for the system pump motor. This conflicts with what has been previously posted, but I am going with what Taco-Hvac suggests.
