Not identical
Even though this is the same part # as the Emerson that was removed, it is not an exact replacement. The shaft is longer and has a second flat, there is an extra wire, and the mounting studs are longer. This motor is reversible, but you don't know which way it will turn until you install it. The reversing leads are loose and must be carefully dressed so they don't tangle in the fan. And for some reason only half the leads were terminated. All in all, the motor works fine, just disappointed it wasn't a "plug and play".
