The threads were stripped on my old actuator spacer ring. I bought this new one and my hot water system is back in business. Fits great.

Not enough threads to remain on valve
Not enough threads - maybe one or two? So, as others have said, will not remain attached to valve, and it pops off.

spacer ring not perfect
The spacer ring has three thread loops. In other words you have the actuator held on by three threads. The valve and old actuator had 10 or so. Be very careful, they strip easily and some times three treads just aren't enough. I have one that I must use the old actuator on as the new one keeps popping off. In the future I hope the spacer ring is molded with more threads !!

THE SPACE KEEPS POPPING OFF !!!!!!!!!!!
THE A3023522 ACTUATOR KEEP POPPING THE THE SPACE RING RIGHT OFF OF THE MANIFOLD. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH THREADS ON IT TO HOLD IT.
Q: I've got the same problem as the reviewer. The actuator and adapter ring keeps poping off of the old style Wirsbo manifold. There don't appear to be enough threads.

This ring does not adapt the actuator to Wirsbo style manifolds. For those, you would need to purchase A3019900.
