1 QuestionQ: Will these work with Rifeng PEX-AL-PEX? If so, is the Viega FostaPex prep tool needed?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffNo, PEX Press fittings only work with standard PEX and Viega FostaPEX. We would recommend either PEX-AL-PEX compression or PEX-AL-PEX press (e.g. Uponor MLC fittings) fittings with Rifeng PEX-AL-PEX. You would not need to use a FostaPEX prep tool with Rifeng PEX-AL-PEX, but you would need to use a chamfering tool prior to making any fitting connection.
do not use any other company's pex with viega fittings. I use these fittings all the time. they are the very best you can buy. You are showing 1/2" "T" for pex. I only use FostaPex in 3/4" size. I use it for hot water heating, and very nicely for compressed air lines. You absolutely need to use the prep tool for Fostapex, regardless of the size. Make sure you ream all the way to the stop on the tool. the prepped area is just a tiny bit longer than the depth of the fittings. make sure you bottom out the fitting and hold it tight while compressing.
