They are flexible they hold the screws before putting them on the pex. They do crack if you go all the way down but they are great.

A functional system for perpendicular pex2joist suspension
Overall a good product. Using these for suspending uponor pex perpendicular to floor joists. The screw hole attachment ears could use a bit more vertical length. I found that nails are a bit difficult to use on the very edge of joists and screws must be driven at a sharp upward angle to grab without splitting some joists. Functional and overall a suitable means of suspending pex.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThe hole size needs to be slightly larger than the OD of the PEX. ½" PEX OD is 0.625", ¾" PEX OD is 0.875".

Q: How is the "standard tubing clamp" (SKU: A7350750) different from the "suspension tube clamp" (SKU: A7250750)? There is no picture of an individual standard tube clamp on this item's web page. Please consider adding one or more photos like those shown with SKU: A7250750.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffSuspension clips (A7250750) suspend the tubing below the joist, while standard clips (A7350750) mount tubing flush with the joist. Please see page 131 of the catalog linked below for a picture. http://viewer.zmags.com/publication/dce0ff6f#/dce0ff6f/131
