Extremely quiet and smooth!

Q: can this be used in a raw sewage line ? ie basement toilet

This check valve has a spring in it. It is not a passive type device. It is meant to be used with a sump (or sewage) pump that provides pressure to the line. A horizontal pipe with only the weight of the water or sewage is not going to be enough pressure to open this valve.
