Tight fit
I have two these installed on my sump pumps and they work great. This third one was for my utility pump and it works just as well while eliminating the thump. The only issue is how tight the fittings are and getting them fully seated before the adhesive takes hold is almost impossible. There is no way you have a second chance after the glue takes hold. I have no leaks and hope it remains that way. Considering the backorder and price of these things , I surely expect no leaks. Supply House was great as usual and they are not faulted for the manufacturers shortfall. It's likely this batch was rushed manufacturered to fill there backorders with disregard for quality checks. I had no issues with fit on my now 2 year old identical valves.
