I like the clear valve body and nice ball valve. Easy to clean if needed.

I had a problem with the first one but Supply House sent me a replacement immediately. The replacement works great and is very quiet.

This item arrived fast and on time. It is exactly as described online. I have used this type of quiet check valve for many years on a sump pump in a previous home. Installation went well. It took me longer to install than if a professional plumber would have done it because I measured about ten times before I cut into the existing PVC. The valve closes quietly without any "slam-dunk" noise that previously reverberated throughout the house. What I don't understand is why the plumber for my new home didn't install this in the first place! It costs more but it's definitely worth every penny! Also, if the valve ever fails for whatever reason (I'm using it on the outflow of a macerator sump) then it can be easily unscrewed and replaced. Finally, the service and technical advice I received from Supply House has been excellent!

Our lift pump is in a closet of our daughter's bedroom. The hammer before installing was unbearable, this thing is truly silent. The woosh of water is louder than anything. Would put it on every check valve. Let's see how they hold up over the long term too.

I have a 1 1/2" sump pump and a 2" sewage sump pump (that only lifts water from the AC and furnace). The noise from the smaller check valve is tolerable, but the bigger one could be heard throughout the house. It was awful. I replaced it with the Quiet Check valve, and it works as advertised. Definitely worth it. I may have to get one for the smaller sump.

No issues and installation went fine. I probably will never have to use the shut off and replace but hopefully it will be fine if I have to.

I use this product with a sewage pump so it gets a lot more use. I have had this product installed for about two weeks and it is works. It definitely reduces the hammer sound and the spring closes it every time. I just wonder how long will the spring last. It is good that you can see inside to make sure it is not damaged, but you can see what is inside too. lol My last check valve was completely broken when I took it apart. Easy to install and delivery was on time. Note: This is a simple install and there are plenty of videos to help you install this product so do not waste money on a so called professional. Just do it yourself.
