Would rather have spent this money on steak dinner
This stuff is real nice. Beautiful seams. Went together nicely with termination kit, elbows and other extensions. Too bad no one will ever see it up on my attic! I also had a tough time verifying if it met code for my location. I wish this info was more readily available. After a couple conversations with Takagi and Z-vent as well as a local plummer, all said it would (More than likely) meet code for my area. Supply house was very flexible while I sorted it all out.

little overpriced for the product. difficult to install
The quality of mfg is pretty good. the pipe has a good bit of iron in it to be stainless steel. I was surprised when my magnetized level stuck to it. But I guess it made the installation a little easier since my level stuck to it. The pipes were difficult to assemble. Every time I pressed them together, the rubber gasket in the end pushed forward and would not stay put. So the pipes would not fully assemble and become air tight. I had to spray WD40 on the joints to get them to assemble. Kind of a pain. For the price of these, I would expect an easier assembly process.

Q: is this pipe considered category 3 exhaust vent pipe that can be used for horizontal venting a mr heater big maxx 125000 btu hanging heater?
