Q: Is this stainless steel? Can a standard double wall galvanized pipe vent taken from a home gas pack heating system be used with the T-KJR2-IN tankless hot water heater with SS Nova Vent back flow preventer?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, all Takagi and Z-vent pieces are Category III stainless steel. Galvanized is not compatible, the flue condensation will eat away at it. Cat. III stainless is resistant to the corrosion.
