Backflow Preventer not included
Used when terminating direct-vent systems. For use with Takagi direct-vent models that require a 3" intake and a 4" exhaust. This concentric termination provides the convenience of only having to make one penetration through a sidewall instead of two separate penetrations for the intake and exhaust piping. The louver termination acts as a bird screen, restricting small animals, pests, and foreign objects from entering into the vent system. This sidewall termination is available in three different sizes, to cover all ranges of wall thicknesses.

Partially great
The base part is good, but is supposed to include Zflex for the he three inch part, instead, supply .com suggests a 90 deg elbow, that doesn't fit.. call to company was tried, they wouldn't split the package to ship me some. Supply house referred me to some line that said they would research it and get back to me. So they got me, in a hurry so just ordered and paid.

Better packaging
This would be a better product if it had the holes on a 21"center. The reason being, on a metal building pbr panels ridges are on a 12" center. Furthermore, packaging could be better as the product was bent in shipping.

Q: Is the picture what I am getting made by takagi as it says or an aftermarket different looking item by z-flex? I want what is pictured because I need it to match an identical installation adjacent to it.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffTakagi vent pieces are now made by Nova Vent (Z-Vent). This part is a newer-style piece made by Z-Vent. If you need an old-style Takagi piece (made by Tosetz/T-Vent), you would need to find a supplier that still has stock on the old part (TK-KPCT43-1/9007680005). T-vent and Z-Vent pieces are not compatible with one another.
