The ProLine XE 50-Gallon Power Direct Vent Natural Gas Water Heater features a two-pipe combustion system that draws clean air from outside the home, eliminating any worries about indoor ventilation.
Featuring a 50-gallon (nominal) tank and a 62,000 BTU gas burner, the GPDX-50L Power Direct Vent delivers a first hour rating of 118 gallons and a recovery rate of 69 gallons per hour. This model features a 0.73 Uniform Energy Factor and carries a 6-year limited warranty.
Environmentally-friendly insulation and factory-installed heat trap nipples reduce heat loss for maximum energy savings.
This ProLine XE water heater is designed with A. O. Smith's superior commercial-grade tank protection. Advanced tank features include stainless steel CoreGard anode rod, Blue Diamond glass lining and DynaClean automatic sediment-cleaning system, all designed to help protect the tank from the corrosive effects of water and extend the life of the water heater.

Q: An addition question regarding the venting for AO Smith GDPX-50L-NG: The specs indicate that the vent has a 4" diameter. Can it be reduced to 3" in order to use the AO Smith 3"concentric Vent Kit #9006328005?

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse StaffNo this vent could not be reduced to a 3" connection instead of the 4". A different kit would be required.
