At this time the GPVT-40-LP cannot be converted to NG. However the GPVT-40 is sold as an NG unit. Thank you.
No it can not, water heaters can not be converted.
The reference number for the GPVT-40-200 is 5497154.
The "very hot" setting on the control is roughly 155 degrees. Exact temperature may vary due to different conditions.
This unit is approved for operation for altitudes of up to 10,100 ft. The standard orifice must be replaced for operation above this height.
Power vent water heaters generally have blower motors that allow them to exhaust horizontally out side walls. They still pull combustion air from indoors. Direct vent units also have blowers, but they have a second vent pipe for bringing intake air from outdoors.
The minimum clearance venting requirement for windows which can be opened is 4ft below or to the sides of the opening and 1ft above. For permanently closed windows a minimum of 1ft on all sides is required.
Power vent units like this one draw combustion air from inside the house. Direct vent models bring intake air from outdoors and require either a second protrusion from the building or a concentric vent kit in order to do this.
