The nut is very shallow and the threads were not manufactured correctly

No I would not buy again !
The brass pipe is ok the nut is a cheap Diecast nut that crumbles when u Tighten it up to the strainer
They need to spend a little more on a brass nut.
Had two of these and both nuts broke with Barely tension Tightening it.
