I would buy another one from Supply House.com

I HAVE BOUGHT this product again and again. It is only used by me and My Wife. I have always thought that Bosch was Top Quality, and that is why I bought the first one. I bought it at H.D. They Never said that model was Out of Production for Years and had sat on their shelf. When I had a problem with it, I found out that there were NO Parts available for that unit. I bought the second unit from your company. I liked it a lot. Now on unit #3 in less than 5 years. Your people have been Very Helpful. THANK YOU

Not sure I will buy sgain

I bought the Tronic 6000 to replace a PowerStar AE 115 that lasted 15 years in a garage where hot water is used about once a week. I read the reviews but decided to buy the Tronic 6000 because the hookup was exactly the same. The initial installation was seamless but one of the holding tanks overheated immediately and triggered the electrical shutoff. An extra plumber visit and then an electrician visit later, the hot water works. The electrician had to switch the control boards above the two tanks which seemed to resolve. (On phone Bosch service technician recommended) This process was VERY labor intensive and one could not expect a regular electrician to spend the time on a ladder in a small space to complete this task on a NEW water heater! Our electrician has been with us for years so did as a favor. I asked him how this switch could have helped. He speculated that one of the wires was loose…and when he switched ended up tightening the loose wire. Perhaps happened at the manufacturer, during shipping or installation. Hopefully, with only weekly use, the unit will last years but am not optimistic given the rocky start. Be sure to check that all wires are tight.

Product only lasted 4 days

It started leaking out of the heater hub. I contacted you and bosch and still haven't gotten a replacement. So I had no hot water for 2 weeks.

I would not buy this product again!

After my Bosch Trionic 6000 C WH17 quit I decided to just replace the whole unit instead of repairing the unit. After searching online I ordered a unit through Supply House. Com. I had ordered through them before they seemed reasonable and expedient. After getting my new unit installed I still had no hot water. I attempted to call the Bosch Service line a couple of times but could not connect with them. I then contacted Supply House customer Service but they said there was nothing they could do and I would have to contact Bosch. I called Bosch customer Service and they told me, I would need to contact Supply House to start a claim. I again called Supply House customer Service and again was told, nothing they could do I needed to contact Bosch! I called Bosch again but only to get the same run around!!! A few days later I was able to get in contact with Bosch service Dept. And found a mispinned connector on the unit. I corrected the connector and the unit worked fine. Do to the fact that there was no customer support at Supply House or Bosch I will not be purchasing from either again..

I will look for a different product.

I purchased a new Trionic 6000 C Wh17 from Supply House to replace the one I had. It had quit putting out Hot Water so instead of repairing it I decided to replace it with a new one. After installing the new one I still had no Hot Water. I tried to reach out to Bosch for assistance n they were hard to contact due to conflicting hours with my schedule. I finally reached out to Supply House n they were no help, they told me to contact Bosch. I finally contacted Bosch n they told me to contact Supply House. I contacted Supply House again n they told me They could do nothing I had to Contact Bosch again. Bosch told me again to contact Supply House !! After getting run around for a while I finally got in contact with a Bosch Tech and found a misprinted 3 wire connector on the unit. After installation it took approx. 3 weeks to get it going, I had to pay an Electrician to come out n verify voltage etc. Not a pleasant experience at all. Very aggravating n frustrating!!!

Works great.

Had to re-do the plumbing a little bit as the in/out were not in the same location as the one being replaced. Took this opportunity to add ports to allow future vinegar flush. Electrician had run 2 circuits to individual disconnects so had to punch 2 smaller holes instead of using the large one provided.
