Tempra Plus models feature Advanced Flow Control, patented in Germany and exclusive to Stiebel Eltron tankless heaters. If hot water demand exceeds working capacity, Advanced Flow Control automatically maintains consistent temperatures by slightly reducing flow. Intelligent self-modulating technology continually ensures the least amount of energy is used to heat the water. A Tempra 20 Plus provides hot water at a consistent temperature for 1-2 bathrooms in warm climates, or 1 bathroom in cool climates. See sizing to determine which model is best for you. - Requires a minimum of 125 Amp total service to the residence, with 2 separate dedicated 40 Amp DP breakers and 2 separate runs of 8-gauge copper wiring for the Tempra 20 Plus itself
- Supplies endless hot water at a constant and steady temperature from 68 to 140°F (20-60°C) that can be set on the front panel digital display
- Flow rate you achieve from this or any tankless water heater depends on how powerful the unit is and the temperature difference between the incoming cold water and the hot water being delivered
- 99% efficient and typically result in savings of 15-20% in comparison with electric tank water heaters
- Must be installed vertically, water fittings pointing down, with detachable connections such as braided flex connectors to allow periodic filter cleaning and flushing for scale, and an anti-scale filter is recommended if hard water is present

I would and have bought this tankless unit again and again
I bought my first one two years ago, and have now bought 4 in total for 4 different remodels.
They work effortlessly and efficiently. I've had no issues so far with these units. In fact I have two units in two other homes that are 10+ years old and only one had a sensor issue pop up, which was immediately diagnosed by the companies Customer Support people, and a new sensor issues and put in. Worked perfectly.
The 4 new units are in homes with hard water and I've had no scale build up issues either.
This brand is top of the line and the manufacturing is as well.

Appears to be a quality product, high hopes!
One thought to consider is that this unit doesn't appear to have any freeze protection, so we are installing it with add-on heat tape and with tankless isolation valves to provide maximum opportunity for end user to deal with the occasional freezes in the area.

Works great!
I bought this unit to replace an indirect water heater so I could stop burning fuel oil to heat my water. As of this writing it has been in use for 3 weeks and has worked perfectly. I am very pleased with this unit.

Nice Unit
We use this unit in small lake cottages with one bathroom and a kitchen sink. Easy to install, compact enough to fit in a closet or right in the bathroom. Only down side is the electrical requirements, making sure there is enough power in the house and room in the panel for it.
