I would NOT buy this roof vent for a dryer again.
It works fine, BUT you cannot pop the top open for cleaning it. So after years of use, lint builds up and you cannot reach in to clean it out. Needs to be redesigned for easy open cleaning of all interior parts and vent tubing.

Brian Roof Cap - Easy Install
I like this particular cap for several reasons. First, it has a nice dark finish instead of bare aluminum. Most importantly, it fits over your duct instead of mating to it. Much easier to install especially if you don't have easy access to the duct work below the roof. Pest screen and damper included. Nice unit.

Vented 2 bath rooms with single inline blower to attic and through the roof.very easy to install. Great spring damper,unit opens and closes great.best roof mounted vent cap out there.

Q: Will this work as a wall cap for a Wood Burning Stove? I have a unique set up that where this will vent is on a wall on the 1st floor and then a gable above the 2nd floor so using a traditional round pipe cap wont work unless I go about +30 feet. I have seen houses that have a wall cap venting out.

No it will not. Wood stove is way to hot, it will easily melt that cap. Wood stove caps are very thick, heavy duty and expensive. Rick
