3" or 4" Round Duct Aluminum Wall Cap w/ Damper

These are the best wall caps one can buy for 4-inch venting. I have used many of them. Just cut out the aluminum screen for dryer use. The only complaint is that it would be nice if the connected 4-inch duct was 4 to 6 inches longer for thicker walls.

Thin aluminum construction. One of the spot welds did not stick on mine so there is a gap. The flapper lines up okay but also a gap there. Can't be corrected because the housing is spot welded to the duct crooked. Fine for cheap construction but pick something better if you're going for a higher end look.

Used this for bath room exhaust -well made and installs easily.

Used this to vent bath fan through gable end sidewall. Didn't care too much for being 25' up on a ladder with a 1/2" drill and 4" hole saw to cut the hole, but I'm still alive, so all went well. MUCH better than that plastic junk they sell at home stores. Has a backdraft damper and critter screen. Not sure yet if the wasps will find it a nice place for a nest...

Used this as a wall cap for a bathroom vent. Good aluminum construction with screen and damper. The diameter is exactly 4 in. I was hoping I could use a clamp ring but that didn't work because dryer vent hoses are also 4 in. You'd want the hose to go inside the pipe in case there's condensation from moist bathroom air so it can drip out and not drip inside the wall... I ended up cutting the vent hose wire and that worked fine
