Q: If your baseboard radiant heaters btu is around 600. How can you figure the total output of your Burnham

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe output of a boiler is pre-determined by the manufacturer. You can't really go by the baseboards, because it's always possible that there are more baseboards than the boiler can handle. Additionally, the BTU output of baseboards is affected by water temperatures and flow rates. The 600 BTU number generally assumes 200°F water flowing at 4 gallons per minute.
