Cherne Single-Size Test-Ball Plugs are designed to test drain, vent and waste systems in every type of pipe. They also can be inserted through a test tee to seal out-of-round pipe.

- Inflatable design can fit through test tees, sanitary tees, floor drains and other hard to access pipe openings
- Ideal for testing DWV plumbing systems at pressures up to 13 psi or with 30 ft of head pressure
- Utilizes a standard tire air fitting for easy connections
- Ring and chain assembly helps prevent the plug from being drawn into DWV systems during tests

Holds pressure
Went as high at 50 psi and held pressure for days without slipping. Recommended pressure is 30. I exceeded in order to plug an old cast iron pipe. Was not successful but it was not due to this product.

I always hated the oakey plugs this thing is better
This one was pretty simple and you know you have a good seal when it is directly in the pipe. I used it to stop sewer fumes while toilet was off flange. Just be careful inflating it tends to inflate fast. I put in about 25lbs and seems to stop fumes.

I would buy this item again if needed.
I purchased this test ball to test the operation of an installed backwater flo valve and it worked perfectly. I am a do it yourself-er and consider this to be of excellent quality and do not expect to ever need to replace it. I also commend Supply House on their speedy shipment and delivery which was A-plus. I most certainly would order from them again.
