It's hard to mess up threaded rod. It was the only thing I bought that didn't need to be reworked to be functional.

I would buy this product again
I used this product in an unusual but could not find any other product. My outdoor ceiling fan would start to swing violently in heavy winds and two blades have already been destroyed. Please look at the picture on how I used the threaded rod to secure the fan down tube. On one end I welded tabs to secure it to the ceiling and on the other I heated and bent on a 45 degree angle and screwed into 3/4" Black Split Ring Extension Hangers. (another review) Used some touch-up paint on the rods to match the fan. Cut a 6 foot rod into 4-18" pieces. Works Perfectly!
