This works better than the one I replaced ever did.
I my case I had an additional problem. In disassembly the valve holder broke from the back connector casing. They used 3 tiny 5/16" tubes to connect them. Mine broke removing removing the outer ring. The new one was a single casting so now they're much tougher. It would be nice if SupplyHouse had that ring to sell also. I would have bought it before starting the work. Then it could have been safely cut off like plumbers recommend. The movement now is silky smooth instead of sticky like the last one has always been.
