Superior quality
It may seem a little silly to review a copper fitting, but here it is! I have been using copper and brass fittings for decades and of course over time more and more fittings were being produced in China or Thailand. With no offense to our neighbors in the far east, it is refreshing to find that we have a "local" manufacturer in Canada. Cello is in Ontario, and produces, on site, the highest quality copper and brass fittings I have ever handled. Given the opportunity, I try to make my purchases from responsible regional manufacturers, thus reducing carbon footprints and supporting our local (or regional) economy. Buying online sometimes constitutes a bit of a risk, but I am happy to report that all the products I have purchased from Pex Supply are of superior quality. Keep up the good work!

Casting defects
Luckily I pressure checked my assembly before installing. I had a small drip at 80psi. I found it to be a flaw in the casting around the neck of the 3/8" shoulder. Material is thin where they drilled out for the 3/4 sweat end. I bought 3 of these fitting and they all appear to be flawed.

Q: Will the thread for a 1/2" NPT thermowell? My piping is 3/4" and I need a tee to install the cited thermowell.

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse Staffno it won't you would need a 3/4X3/4X1/2, but you would need to put a stump of pipe into the 1/2 or the well will bottom out in the Tee.
