Worked as advertised - if you read the directions
I installed this as a DIY project in conjunction with replacing 95% of 1986 era PVC supply runs with PEX in my 70 year old northwoods cabin. I preinstalled the adaptors for the pex connections and attached to wall near the hot water heater and then ran the lines into the hot water heater drain. The pump did not appear to work at first which is likely due to 1 or 2 factors - both of which were my fault. 1 - I did not flush the pump of potential debris after using it as a template to build a wooden support used to attach it to the wall. 2 - I did not bleed air from the lines as directed in the instructions. The pump appeared to run when first plugged in but I noticed no change in the circulation through the lines. I unplugged after a few hours, waited a few days and then plugged it in again when I had time to troubleshoot. Magically, the circulation worked perfectly and has ever since (3 weeks and counting). The pump works as advertised and now I have hot water within 5 seconds at the furthest sink when before it would take 90-120 seconds. Very happy. No leaks first attempt at install.

I would order a different model, one that has a timer.
The product if fine. I had to call and request gaskets that should have been included with the original orders. Delayed installation by a week.

Works like a charm!
My old Grudfos hot water circulator was making alot of noise and on its death bed so I replaced it with this one. it was a direct replacement, no plumbing adjustments necessary, quiet and works like a charm. The built in water temp controller works good, it turns on for about a 1 min ever 5 min or so when nobody is using hot water. I have it connected to a smart plug so I can program it to turn off at night and when the family is away from the house. I am a little worried what all the power cycling will do to the electronic control, but after a month it is working perfectly.

Does exactly what I needed done
I wanted a recirc pump that would run infrequently, but still maintain quick hot water at the faucet. The temperature function on this unit does exactly that. Works much more efficiently than the timer-style unit that it replaced.

Excellent Product... it's made an amazing difference
Placing the order through Supply House was fast and easy, and delivery was also fast.
I just finished the installation and oh-boy what a huge difference. It literally used to take FOREVER to get hot water at the Master Bath which is located at the other end of the house and farthest from the hot water heater. Our pipes run through the attic and even though they are insulated, it took up to a minute during the winter months to get hot water. Now it takes around 5 seconds. The pump is so quiet it's hard to tell it's running.
Installation: I installed the pump with a dedicated PEX-A return line which runs from the master bath back to the cold-water inlet on the hot water heater. I added a check valve to the HWH cold-water input line right after the shut off valve to prevent backflow. The pump has a built-in check valve to prevent backflow into the return line. I connected the pump with unions that have built-in shut-off valves for easy maintenance in the future. I also added an expansion tank to the configuration as a safety measure. The pump has two modes... "Always On" and "Temperature Control". I am using the "Always On" mode since I have the pump connected to a Kasa (Wi-Fi) smart plug that allows me to set the run schedule. I may alter the setting once I am able to find out exactly what the Temp setting does and how it works.
