I was surprised to see how inexpensive it was to purchase the damper already equipped with the actuator. I needed the damper and actuator. By doing this myself I saved. The new damper with the actuator was under a $100.00. The last time I had to replace an actuator using a furnace repair company, it cost me $400.00. The costumer service people at Supply House were very helpful in answering my questions

I've had the damper for a few weeks now and it works perfectly. Made of high quality materials, seals very well when closed and has a clear indicator screen and light so you know when it's open or closed.
SupplyHouse was great. They got it to me in about 2 days. No complaints at all.

Installed three of these, wiring was easy, after crimping the other end slipping the vent over was easy. Install guide does not mention orientation of damper, you have to go the the website to find out that when installed horizontally, not to orient the motor on the bottom, which is a bit difficult in the joist space. I did not have mine attached to a zone panel, just off a 24vac transformer attached to an appliance timer to manage opening and closing.
