Beware Home owners, this is not made for most of you
Replaced my 3rd Generation Nest with this product because it was recommended by an HVAC tech after diagnosing our Nest was broken. First, no wiring diagram for our manufactured home one stage electrical home heat pump system. Had to call to support, waited an hour, and found out the White heat stage wire need to be in W2, not W (the Nest was in W). Second, there are 37 individual settings that I could change and most of these settings are written in Honeywell Tech language. After reading about half the settings, I came upon one that sounded like I wanted it to be changed. For some reason Honeywell default turning off the automatic mode changer from heat to cool, or vise versa. It took changing 3 settings, 2 in the advance settings, and one in the common settings to get it to work. The next one I'm going to attempt to change is the energy saver one on using the Auxillary heat. Wish me luck.

I like the T6
I like the T4 through the T6 line of thermostats. I love that all it takes to upgrade or downgrade is swapping the thermostat. I wish the instructions for Wi Fi were better Honeywell has 3 sites and the other one in the instructions isn't the one that the tech line recommended. The T6 Wi Fi works well with multiple thermostats on the same app.

This thermostat was recommended by my HVAC services company. I looked at several vendors but really liked what I saw on SupplyHouse. And their price was very competitive. Ordering was easy and it arrived within 2 days. My service provider did the install. It has worked very well. And it's nice having the WiFi option to operate remotely. I hate it.
My previous Honeywell quit working after ten years. This new one is so much more difficult to program and use. We are starting a new heating season after having A/C and heat off for a couple weeks. I turn on the thermostat to heat and nothing happens. I had to go to my phone to change the temperature. Why??? It should be the same program as last winter when it was originally installed.

They want your location 24/7
You cannot set up the WiFi without giving the app access to your location ALWAYS, not just when the app is in use. Completely outrageous! Sending it back. I read the installation instructions before buying; of course no mention of this fact in there.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHello, thanks for writing in. There is no setting to keep the thermostat lit up permanently. The screen will wake up by pressing the center area of the displayed temperature, and will stay lit for 45 seconds.
