Decent, non-WiFi-Enabled T-Stat.
Purchased this to replace an older Honeywell T-Stat that was malfunctioning. Installation was easy (I'm not a professional HVAC guy) and programming was straightforward. I'd recommend reading and keeping both installation and programming manuals, as that's the key to keeping this thing from driving you crazy trying to operate.
For now, we haven't initiated any sort of programming schedule, but feel confident that it wouldn't be too much trouble. Our HVAC system is over 20 years old and it's humming along just fine.

Most Difficult Thermostat to Program Ever
Unless you have a degree in computer programing, stay away from this thermostat.
It is a nightmare to program thru the 7 day period. It automatically alternates between HEAT & COOL . You cant get rid of the setting that you don't want. Example: You still have to cycle thru the HEAT setting even though it is July. Same thing with COOL in January. You cant set the CLOCK separately for the heat & cool settings separately. So, WAKE , AWAY & HOME & SLEEP is always the same time. Of course you don't want that. Even called Honeywell Tech support to help program this . The support person was nice enough, but even he struggled with trying to explain how to program it. This thermostate after 4 years quit working, it blew a fuse in the AC system. Had to call the Company that installed our system. They sent & tech person out to fix it which they did BUT even they had to read the manual to learn how to fix & reset this hopelessly complicated thermostat. I finally told the tech just to set up everything to MANUAL MODE. which he did and we are fine with that and it works well that way. BUT of course it defeats the whole purpose of an automatic thermostat. Prior to this T$ Pro we had the very popular Honeywell RTH230B which we had for 20 years & were very happy with it. Unfortunately they don't make it anymore. Sooner or later I will get another automatic thermostat, but it will not likely be a HONEYWELL. I found out the hard way why they call it the " T4 PRO", You have to be a Pro to get it to work right.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffThere is no difference between those models - Honeywell sometimes adds "/U" at the end of their part numbers to signify through suppliers that it is individually packaged.
