Great for electric baseboard heat

Got three of these for three rooms with electric baseboard heat. The existing baseboards had lousy built in temperature knobs we could never get set for good comfort. Mounted these on inside walls in each room opposite the baseboards. Now we can set the temperature where we want it. Love the OFF position for warm months. Easy to install, pretty shallow in electrical box so there was plenty of room for the wiring. They look nice on the wall, FYI they are pure white in color. They can be calibrated if the temp is a little off.

I love this product

When i installed this line load thermostat it just drove the customer wild. She could not believe it. I put it on an exhaust fan in the master bath. When i checked it and found it working the customer just screamed with delight. To tell u the truth, i did not know she stepped into the shower between the install and goi to the basement to reset the breaker. Hey the Police were understanding and she paid in full.

The accuracy of the T410B1004 is within 2 degrees C . The electronic models tend to be more precise with an accuracy of +/- 1 degree F.

If the electric heat is rated at less than 22 AMPS it should work fine for that application.

Q: Is there a wattage limitation with this thermostat as there is with the TL7235A? My current 35-year old thermostat is controlling 3 separate 220v baseboard heaters totaling maybe 19feet in length x 250w=4,750 watts. Might you suggest any other alternatives?

Black wires are common but are not always used. It is best to trace the wires to confirm what they are connected to.
