Very Satisfied
I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.

Works ok, has some issues
This is a nice thermostat however it does cause the heat source to cycle quite a bit whether heat is needed or not.
I currenntly have it hooked up to a Aube relay that controls 24 amps of baseboards. When I turn it on, the room heats to the set point and then shuts off after a few minutes which I guess it is stopping at setpoint +.5 degress. Ok, this is fine. The problem is the heat comes on every 10 to 12 minutes whether heat is needed or not.
I tried setting the CPH to 3 then 2 and finally one, but it still cycled the heat source every 10 to 12 minutes.
The set point of 68 was reached and it never went below.
I prefer it to drop to 67 before it starts heating again.

I would buy again
Not a big fan of programable thermostats, so replaced with these non-programable ones. They matched the mountings of the old thermostats and don't look that much different. They are are just set and forget, no long drawn out re-setting process when replacing the batteries. Still have ability to turn of heat in zone when not needed, as I have hydronic heating.

Q: I have a low voltage system (1 red & 1 white wire only) for electric baseboard. I do not want to use a battery as I have a heat system that shuts down part of the day. Will this thermostat hold the temp set point without a battery after being shut down 4 hours at a time? Can I install without the battery?

Verified Reply- Supplyhouse Staffno it will not hold settings if not powered, yes you can install without battery but you need another wire.

If installed without a battery you would need a 3rd wire which is called a common wire. This would have to be your 24v power source for the thermostat.

Q: We used a White Rogers 1E78-140 2 wire heat only. It looks like the wiring might be different on this one. But I wanted to see if it's compatible.

Q: Will these work on a 24V system? I have natural gas fired hot water heat with radiators, 5 zones. My current units are White-Rogers Type IF 30-910 units with 2 hookup wires.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, this non-programmable thermostat should work well for your application. This is a vertical thermostat and there may be a size difference on the wall as compared with your old model.

Q: I currently have 4 Lin Stat, non-programable, digital thermostats, 4-wire, for electric heat only. 2 now have no digitals at all and one is going, so want to replace all 4. Can I use this to replace them?

In theory yes, but you would need a relay or a series of relays. You would be better off just updating the ones you currently have.
