Very Satisfied
I'm very satisfied with this product. It was exactly what I wanted in my travel trailer, for a lot more accurate heating. Now I can pinpoint it to exactly the temperature I want, instead of guessing, sliding the conventional thermostat back and forth. Will for sure save on propane too! Nice back light when adjusting the temperature, making it easy to see even at night.

Works ok, has some issues
This is a nice thermostat however it does cause the heat source to cycle quite a bit whether heat is needed or not.
I currenntly have it hooked up to a Aube relay that controls 24 amps of baseboards. When I turn it on, the room heats to the set point and then shuts off after a few minutes which I guess it is stopping at setpoint +.5 degress. Ok, this is fine. The problem is the heat comes on every 10 to 12 minutes whether heat is needed or not.
I tried setting the CPH to 3 then 2 and finally one, but it still cycled the heat source every 10 to 12 minutes.
The set point of 68 was reached and it never went below.
I prefer it to drop to 67 before it starts heating again.

I would buy again
Not a big fan of programable thermostats, so replaced with these non-programable ones. They matched the mountings of the old thermostats and don't look that much different. They are are just set and forget, no long drawn out re-setting process when replacing the batteries. Still have ability to turn of heat in zone when not needed, as I have hydronic heating.

Q: the item is listed as heat only, but in the installation instructions it says cool only as an option also. so which is it? or is it both? I have separate thermostats for heat (baseboard electric) and air cooling (air conditioning)....I would like to use this item for both applicaitons if possible, but I need to resolve what appears to be a limitation on the unit to deal only with heat?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHi Jim. This is the TH1100DV, which is heat only. The TH1110DV and TH2110DV can be used for either heat only or cool only.
