One tough little valve motor

The original valve was still working but because it was installed below the valve body, when the valve would leak, the actuator would pay the price. That said, it's been 25 years of faithful service for the original and I expect this OEM replacement to outlast me.

SupplyHouse.com saved Christmas...seriously!

I'm very pleased for this opportunity to praise SupplyHouse. Our aging, but still hardworking Laars boiler's internal anti-condensing valve actuator failed a few days ahead of Christmas. This happened at the same time everyone at home came down with the flu. Everyone was feeling miserable and we only had limited heat by manually operating the valve with a c-clamp - nice. It seemed like resolving this situation quickly was going to be an impossibility. It was December 22nd and I figured everyone would be out on leave. Still I needed the part, so I went ahead with ordering it, figuring I'd need to wait until after the holidays for the delivery. I was truly stunned when on the very next day, I saw the UPS driver walking down the snowy driveway with a SupplyHouse box in hand. This was on December 23rd! Since we really needed some heat, the actuator didn't wind up getting wrapped or placed under the tree - installation was immediate! My family and I thank all of you at SupplyHouse for saving the holidays for us.

Okay unit

I had used these valve actuator units for my two combi boilers over the last 14 years. Some we made in Canada or Hungary, I cannot see any difference between these in terms of longevity. They lasted 1 to 2 years, average Lately, I've been packing some syl-glyde grease between the valve and the actuator, at every flush before winter. So far it is extending the life of these things to 3+ years. This last unit i ordered, i'm keeping as spare.

ASK A QUESTION

Q: I have a viesman hot water heating system in our house. I have been experiencing repeated overheating in one zone of the house. It appears that a vczz1100/u 2 way characterized cartridge is sticking open. We have replaced several of them in the last 3 years. Is there any kind of lubricant I can use on them or do you have an alternate solution? Thanks actuator is a vc8715

There is no lubricant you can use. We would advise you to check your power source.
