Delay on Break Timers ("anti-short cycle", "ON delay on break") helps to protect air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump equipment from damage which may be caused by the rapid short cycling of compressors.
Mode of Operation - Upon application power, the load is energized. When the thermostat or other switch opens or there is a loss of power, the load is de-energized and the delay period begins. The compressor will not start again during the delay period. Restart occurs after the delay period has elapsed.

Just what I needed, at a good price.
This was exactly what I needed to prevent my condensor pump from short-cycling. It was easy to install and I like that I can adjust the delay time from a few seconds to 10 minutes--I'm using the full 10 minutes in my case.
I've ordered several items from SupplyHouse.com over the past few months and have been very pleased with the price and selection.

Not as "adjustible" as they say
The 'adjustment' on this timer jumps from 3 seconds, all the way to 5 minutes, without any adjustment in-between, and then jumps all the way to 10 minutes. So, it is not as 'adjustable' as advertised. I spoke with factory reps about this, and they seem to think it was a bad batch (as i had the same results with 2 different units). I had much better luck with the MARS timer even though it cost more. You get what you pay for. SupplyHouse's great customer service allowed me to return them, even though i'd cut the 120/240v wire.

Does what it says it will do
I use this in conjunction with a vaporstat to avoid the boiler cutting out and then, 20 seconds later, cutting in again. It gives a 3 minute cooldown which is enough to finish the heating cycle, most of the time. Keeps things quiet and efficient. This is the second one I've purchased, despite being kept in the box on the side of the boiler—a hot place—the original lasted around five to ten years.

This product is used. On a walking cooler. Condenser on the roof. For some reason. I have to change it every. Two to three months.

I would not recommend this unit for outdoor condensing units
I ordered four of these a year ago installed two in refrigeration condensing units. One failed after three months and now two more have failed in the heat. Since they're over a year old, there's no warranty. I will be finding something else for a delay timer that will handle the heat.

Totally analog circuit. Would not recommend placing it in outside unit with humidity and high temps. Keep it near indoor air handler.
Timing adjustment dial is very inaccurate. I had to point adjustment knob to less than 2 minutes to achieve a 5 minute timeout.
Did a rough bench test to check for quick power glitch and it did set off timeout timer lock out preventing 24vac contactor relay energizing for set time period, so it is doing the intended job.

Good product.
Like all ICM products I have used in the past, it is well made, compact, easy to install, and performs as intended. I used the ICM203 Timer to delay a/c compressor restart, which, allows refrigerant pressure to bleed off for easier starts). The delay-on-break timing adjustment knob is easy to set. Since this ICM Timer is limited to 1A, I route its output through a relay's coil in order to handle the compressor's starting current.

Not accurate
2 out of 10 might work right. We have been putting these on all of out installs and are having to go back to change most of them out. We will be changing them out with fixed timers from now on. We have only used these on 24v so far.
