Good idea works most of the time.
The seal does not always seal depending on the quality of the Dropeared ell. Saves a lot of time when it works, Would be nice to have extra seals and the part # of the seal engraved on the plug to save time when replacing the Seal. Unfortunately they are disposable when the seal fails.

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHi David. This plug cannot withstand that kind of pressure, as it is only meant for leak testing in a tub/shower system.
